What is the difference between 4wd, 4x4 and awd:

4WD and 4x4 are the same though the AWD is different. 4WD and 4x4 are basically the same thing - one stands for Four Wheel Drive, the other is Four By Four.

Though All-wheel drive vehicles will usually have three differentials - front, rear and centre to distribute torque between the axles. AWD is different they usually include a differential between the front and rear drive shafts.

What is the difference between a 4wd Camper hire and 4wd hire?

  • This is a tourists most common question for tourist and travellers visiting Australia each year. We believe the 'word' camper suggests there is an sleeping option for the hirer whether inside or outside on the roof or ground. Available ranges are 4wd poptop campers that sleeps 2 adults inside the poptop camper which are available for hire from Perth city for oneway or return rentals. Also we have 4wd's with a camping package of 2 ground tents for 5 adults or we have a choice of landcruisers with rooftop tents for 2 persons and a side annexe for 3 more.
